Detox Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic

One of my morning routines is drinking my ACV Tonic. It's good for the liver, it's good for the metabolism, and it revs up my digestive track to properly digest food for the day.

If you're like my husband, the words "Apple Cider Vinegar" make you gag. Personally, I think it tastes find. Take heart all you easy reflux folk, the raw honey cuts the bitterness and makes this a pleasant drink.

Detox Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic

  • 1-2 tablespoons Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp. Raw Honey
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1/2 C-1 C Room temperature water
  • Dash of Sea or Himalayan Salt
  • Mix all ingredients and sip away! *Raw honey is usually hard and difficult to stir unless water is warm. I typically scoop a bit of honey on a teaspoon and lick in between sips to cut out the bitterness. Think of it as a "detox treat".
